Lawton, Ok Trip Events

Lincoln/Packard Club Members join the North Texas Region CLC Members for a trip to Lawton, Ok. A number of members joined us at Decatur, Texas. The next stop was at Waurika, Oklahoma for a short pit stop. Our first stop was at a private museum in Lawton, Oklahoma. The owner's collection included cars, trucks, Indian artifacts, home and farm items. The next stop on the trip was at Fort Sill, to visit the museum. Cannons, guns, soliders uniforms, soliders medals, and other war related items at the Fort Sill National Historic Landmark Museum.

Some of us spend the night at a local motel. On Sunday, we traveled to Meers for a wonderful treat of their famous hamburg. We traveled to top of Mount Scott for a big, wide, view of the surrounding area of rocks, blue skies and greenery. We caravaned to Mountian Park where the houses are build from round rocks found in the stream that wanders thru the town.
